We look forward to working together to create
a successful outcome for everyone involved!!
We would like to thank the Jeannine Y. Francis Charitable Foundation Trust for their generous donation of $5,000 to the David School! This donation was made to help fund our prom and graduation celebrations. We value and appreciate our long-standing friendship with the Francis Foundation and we are grateful for their continued support!
Christa Muckenhausen-Johnson, M.D.... Dr. Muckenhausen had one of her associates, Pam Taylor Bellamy, deliver a very generous donation in the amount of $3,000 to the David School. Dr. Muckenhausen saw our Facebook post of the WYMT interview last week regarding the trust we received from Mr. James B. Kobak and she felt compelled to help. We appreciate her generosity and commitment to helping the people in Appalachia. We would like to welcome Dr. Muckenhausen to the Falcon Family and thank her for this generous donation. We operate solely from grants and donations. It is because of generous people like Dr. Muckenhausen, that we are able to continue our mission of providing a pathway to success through education to every child in our area, regardless of their economic situation. Thank you Dr. Muckenhausen and welcome to the Falcon Family!!!

Each year in late June, members of Project H.O.P.E., located north west of Pittsburgh, go to the rural areas of eastern Kentucky to renovate, build, repair, and fix the homes.. Project H.O.P.E. serves God by serving others.
This group consists of not only Our Lady of Mount Carmel parishioners, but also members of numerous other parishes. It combines the best resources and abilities of its members in a united effort to help the people of the Appalachian region of Kentucky. This is accomplished while providing a meaningful education experience for every member of the organization. This education focuses on the values of the Roman Catholic Church as well as practical knowledge of basic construction techniques.
Projects in recent years have included the construction of handicap ramps, rebuilding floors, fixing or making roofs, installing bathrooms, creating outhouses, raising additions, and even building an entire dwelling in which a family can live. www.phope.org

You can purchase your own rocking chair by contacting the school!
Thanks also to Mark Wohlander, David School Teacher & Volunteer,
for his contributions to the auction!
Faculty and Students personally delivered the rocking chairs to Pittsburgh and attended Project H.O.P.E.'s annual fundraiser show!
Thank You to Principal Bryan Lafferty and Lisa & Phillip West
for their support and dedication.
And Thank You to the Students, for all of their hard work.
A Very Special Thank You to all of the
